Ubuntu Approved for the US Government

The General Services Administration has given the IT firm Autonomic Resources permission to distribute Ubuntu Linux to government customers.

Ubuntu is developed by Canonical and has been one of the most popular distributions, or variants, of Linux. The agreement includes the Canonical product Landscape, which allows users to administer multiple Ubuntu systems through a web interface.
